How many pictures will we receive?
This all depends on what collection you decide on. However, there is always the opportunity to purchase more after the session.
What’s the best time to have a session?
Are we planning an indoor or outdoor session? Golden hour is the final hour of sunlight right before the sun goes down. This period of times makes for gorgeous golden lighting- great for outdoor sessions. However, shooting in open shade is absolutely beautiful (and evenly lit) too. If we're doing a session in the studio where I'm controlling all of the lighting, then the time of day doesn't matter as much. If we're scheduling an indoor session and want window lighting, anytime of the day where light is shining in those windows will work!
How should we dress for our family session?
When we are planning the session, we will talk thoroughly about attire! To truly get what you are envisioning, we have to make sure you and your family are coordinating outfits and choosing the right colors. I'm here to help through it all! My go to palettes are earthy tones.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
This is completely normal! Honestly, majority of my clients tell me this before their session and I we always end up geeking out over the outcome! My job as your photographer is to help you overcome this and create a relaxed atmosphere. I'll provide prompts and poses the entire session. If you love my work then please trust me on this!
